  Find-a-Grave Remsen - Howard Allen, 65, of Swamp Road, a retired attendant at the Marcy Psychiatric Center, died yesterday at his home after a long illness. He was born in Steuben, son of Rudolph and Emma Wandover Allen. In 1941 he married Capitola Brown in Prospect. Mr. Brown was employed by the center for 20 years before his retirement four years ago. He was a Methodist, a member of the Remsen Masonic lodge 677 and was a veteran of World war 2. Besides his wife he leaves a sister, Mrs. Peter ( Mabel ) Briggs of Remsen.
