  The Toledo Blade March 5, 1999 Robert C. Hayden 67, of Swanton passed away March 3, 1999 after a year long battle with cancer at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio facility in Perrysburg. Robert was born June 12, 1931. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1951-1955. He was a graduate of the University of Toledo. Robert worked for Dana Corporation for 35 years. He was an accountant in the employee benefits department; he retired in 1993. Bob enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, and square dancing. Surviving are his wife, Dorthy; daughter, Deborah (Lee) Bowman of Columbus; sons, Michael (Mary) Hayden of Pickerington and Steve Hayden of Toledo; and 8 grandchildren. Also surviving are sister. Phyllis (Richard) Wells of Naples, FL; and brother, Raymond Hayden of Swanton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond S. and Dorothy H. (Crabill) Hayden; and brother, Thomas Hayden.
