Luann Carol Dilley, 70, a resident of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota with her loving family at her side. Luann was born on April 20, 1943 in Sterling Township, Polk County, Wisconsin the daughter of Willard and Bessie (Nelson) Swenson and the 11th of 12 children.
Luann attended Orr School through the 8th and then attended high school in Grantsburg and graduated in 1961. She worked at various jobs from 1961-1968.
She was united in marriage to Dave Dilley on April 20, 1968. To this union Luann and Dave had two children; sadly her daughter Marie Dawn was stillborn. Luann and Dave lived in the Cushing are for a few years until they moved to St. Croix Falls where they still resided. Luann loved to garden and to take care of her farm animals which she considered her pets. She enjoyed baking when she could and being a homemaker. She was loved by most.
Luann leaves to celebrate her memory: husband, Dave Dilley, son, Jason Dilley, brothers: Curtis (Cora) Swenson, Arlen (Marce) Swenson, Eugene (Beverly) Swenson, Richard (Lois) Swenson, William Swenson, Darrel (Karen) Swenson, sisters: Diane (Casper) Neilson, Betty Doolittle, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, baby-daughter, Marie Dawn, sisters: Marion Huna, Marlys, Carlson, brother, Charles "Pete" Swenson, brothers-in-law, Curtis Johnson, Vern Doolittle, Dale Carlson and sister-in-law, Louise Swenson.
