Olivia Corinna Munson Ewing Hollister, a homemaker and watercolor artist, died Aug. 10 in Pleasant Hill, Calif. She was 88.
Mrs. Hollister was born in Napoleonville and lived in New Orleans before moving to Pleasant Hill. She graduated from Louise McGehee School for Girls and Sophie B. Newcomb Women's College. She was a member of Christ Church in Napoleonville, Christ Church Episcopal Cathedral in New Orleans, All Souls Church in Berkeley, Calif., St. Anselm's Church in Lafayette, Calif., and St. Stephen's Church in Orinda, Calif. She had worked for New Orleans Public Service Inc., as a home lighting counselor and in art sales. She had been a member of Episcopal Church Women and East Bay Watercolor Society. She had been a den mother for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Arthur C. Hollister Sr.; a son, Arthur "Chip" Hollister Jr. of Concord, Calif.; a daughter, O. Corinna "Corrie" Binker; and three grandchildren.
