  The Hutchinson News (KS) August 13, 2008 MARION - Alice Van Buren, 86, went home to her maker on Aug. 12, 2008, at HCA Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. She was born Oct. 6, 1921, in Bache, Okla., one of three children born to Edward and Bessie Shupert Pilgrim. She was married to L. Earl Van Buren on March 21, 1946. He died July 26, 1983. She is survived by a son, Roy; daughters, Anita Galbriath, Jan Erpelding and Khrista Branson; a sister, Wanda Baxter; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren
