  The Topeka Capital-Journal (KS) July 10, 2004 Edna Mae Taylor, 85, Topeka passed away on Saturday, July 3 , 2004, at a Topeka nursing home. She was born Nov. 26, 1917, in Shawnee County, the daughter of Charles A. and Hattie Denton Bixby. She graduated from high school in Rossville and worked for the State of Kansas Motor Vehicle Department. Her husband, Walter C. Taylor, preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Ingram, Wellington, Ky; a brother, Donald Bixby, Rossville; two granddaughters, Marti Leisinger and Laura Stone, Topeka; and two great-granddaughters, Nicole Taylor and Samantha Stone, both of Topeka. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
