  The Tribune (Ames, IA) February 9, 2005 Annabelle Lacox, 82, of Booneville, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, at the Winterset Care Center North in Winterset. Annabelle Lacox was born June 13, 1922, in Des Moines, the daughter of Burr L. and Mildred H. (Ashworth) Stewart. She graduated from Valley High School in 1939 and later graduated from cosmetology college. She married Paul C. Lacox in Des Moines on July 29, 1945. She and her husband managed and operated a farm near Booneville. She had also worked as a cosmetologist and owned and operated a motel in Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Jack Stewart. She is survived by her daughter, Jayne Lacox of Lawrenceville, Ga.; a son, Wayne Lacox of Van Meter; and four grandchildren.
