  Bangor Daily News August 17, 2015 BREWER AND BANGOR - Beatrice E. Phillips, 96, wife of the late Robert L. Phillips Sr., went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, Aug. 15, 2015, in Brewer. She was born Sept. 17, 1918, in Milo, the daughter of Vernie and Mary (Erskins) Mayo. Beatrice was a member of the Newport Church of God and recently attended Glad Tidings Church of Bangor. She is survived by 4 children, Robert L. Phillips Jr. and his wife, Elena, of Bangor, Cynthia Gough and husband, Buddy, of Brewer, Stephen Phillips and his wife, Darlene, of Clifton and Jenny Mills and her husband, John, of Holden; foster son, Lawrence Taylor of Levant; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Jean Lee of Milo; and 1 brother, Murray Mayo of Milo. She was predeceased by 9 siblings; her son-in-law and daughter, Walter and Frances York and by a great grandson, Nathan Phillips.
