Lawrence L. Morton, 92, of Endwell passed away Sunday, October 3, 1993 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Morton of Emdwell; a sister, Erma Allison of Pritcgard, Ala.; a sister-in-law, Myrtle Reynolds of Windsor; a brother-in-law, David Bunzey of chenango Forks; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is a retired executive from the Kroether Manufacturing Company General Office in Napperville, Ill. Lawrence began his career at Kroehler's Binghamton plant in 1920. He was transferred in 1927 to the Naperville plant as superintendent. He joined the International Furniture Company in 1933 where he was manager at several of the factories. He returned to Koehler's in 1947 as manager of Engineering, Research and Development, and was elected the vice president in 1955. He was well known throughout the furniture industry. He was a member of Otseningo Lodge #435 F & AM for over 60 years.
