Howard L. Thayer, 95, of Macungie, formerly of Merchant, N.J., died Tuesday in the home of his daughter, Virginia, wife of Robert Mair, with whom he resided. He was the husband of the late Marion H. (Keeler) Thayer.
He was a design draftsman for RCA, Camden, N.J., for 32 years before retiring in 1965.
Born in New Cumberland, W.Va., he was a son of the late Charles L. and Elizabeth B. (Wilson) Thayer.
He was a Master Mason in Trimble Lodge 117, FA&M, Camden.
He was a Navy veteran of World War I, having served in France.
Survivors: Daughter; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
