  Edwin "Randy" L. Cookson, Jr., 57, of North Broad Street, Meriden, formerly of Wallingford, died Monday, November 07, 2005, at Hartford Hospital. Born in Milo, Maine, January 25, 1948 a son of Edwin L. Cookson, Sr. and Beatrice (Pierce) Cookson, and had been a Wallingford resident for many years and Meriden resident for several years. Mr. Cookson was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School and had been a Police Officer for the Town of Wallingford for 22 years until his retirement. He was presently employed as a Property Manager for the Salvation Army at the Marshall House in Hartford. He was a member of the Meriden Hills Baptist Church in Meriden. Besides his parents, he is survived by three sons, John E. Cookson and Marc T. Cookson, both of East Haven, and Matthew B. Cookson of Branford; his sister, Judy Rigolout of Branford and his brother, James P. Cookson of Killingworth. He was predeceased by a son Michael Cookson.
