  Dean E. Kennedy, 95 of Hillsdale, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Drews Country Living in Hillsdale. He was born November 8, 1917 in Hanover, Michigan to Frank and Mae (Powell) Kennedy. Dean married Velma Klinkman on June 27, 1942 and she survives. Dean was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School in Toledo and he was the founder of Deans Farm Supply in Hillsdale. He was a member of the Hillsdale First United Methodist Church and the Masonic Temple. Dean enjoyed photography, collecting coins and traveling. In addition to his wife, Dean is survived by a two children, Carol (Stephen "Bill") Fazekas of Hillsdale and Norman Kennedy of Venice, Florida; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Dean was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ralph Kennedy.
