  Daily Evening Item September 9, 1992 LYNN - Mrs. Ann (Haskell) Williams, 793 Lynnfield St., died Tuesday at her home, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Dr. Philip Williams. She was born in Lynn, daughter of the late Ira and Lillian (Rogers) Haskell, and lived on Lynnfield Street for 28 years. She was owner of the former Carlson Florist Shop of Lynn and SwampScott during the 1940s and 5Os. Mrs. Williams was an English High graduate, class of 1934, and the Stockbridge School at the University of Massachusetts. She was a poet and artist and recipient of the Item Bouquet of the Week. She also compiled a family genealogy and was a member of many Organizations. She was a past president of the Junior Aid Society of Lynn, a founding member and past president of the Massachusetts Dental Society auxiliary, a board member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn, the First Colonial Bank and Lynn Home for the Elderly. She was also a life member of the Historical Society, a member, of the Mayflower Society, Tedesco Country Club, 100 Palm Harbor (Fla.) ; Country Club and the Quechee Country Club of Vermont and was formerly active in Camp Fire Girls and Girls Inc. of Lynn. Mrs. Williams also leaves a daughter, Mrs. . Jo-Ann Carlson Downes of Wellesley; a son, C. Richard Carlson of Rockport; a stepdaughter, Cynthia Williams Bohaker of Andover; a stepson, Philip Williams IV of Greenwich, Conn. ; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, She was the sister of the late Roger Haskell.
