  Greenville Record Argus, Greenville, PA: The Rev. Grant F. Haskell, 94, Greenville, PA formerly of Florida, New York and the New England area, died at 6:49 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at the St Paul's nursing home. Born July 14, 1915, in Beverly, Mass., to Frederic W. Haskell and Helen (Haskell) Haskell, he married Elizabeth "Betty" G. Gardner May 24, 1943. He was a Universalist Unitarian retired clergyman and a youth director for several years at different YMCAs in New York and Pennsylvania. After retirement, he was a school bus driver for many years in the Central Buck's school district located in Eastern Pennsylvania, and was also the president of the bus driver union. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Richard A. Haskell of Alamogordo, N.M., and Jonathan F. Haskell of Newark, NY; a daughter, Beth M. Haskell of Brooklyn, NY; and two sisters, Helen Gately of California and Barbara Lampey of Knoxville, TN and his grandsons, Kenneth Haskell of Brooklyn NY, Grant W. Haskell of Baltimore MD. _____ Family records and notes courtesy of Grant Ferdinand Haskell, 1915-2010 In 1892, the family lacking capital, he removed to Jacksonville to learn the carpenters trade. The family was further impoverished by the Jacksonville fire of May 1901 when they lost all of their household goods except two trunks of clothing which were carried away to a place of safety by a U.S. Mail wagon. They moved to Palatka where he was employed at a Tanic Acid Works until his death.
