  Chelan Valley Mirror January 5, 1977 Lloyd A. Morton, 721, Chelan, died Saturday in a local hospital following an extended illness. Born June 26, 1904, at Fox Home, Minnesota, he came to Mansfield with his family in 1906 to homestead.On March 26, 1926 he married Jewel Hobbs at Chelan. From 1939 to 1955 he owned and operated Mortons Service and the Blue bird Restaurant in Chelan. He was a member of the Chelan Eagles No. 2218. Surviving are his wife, at home; four sons, Ellis, Bridgeport; Jerry and Harold, both of Chelan and Marvin, of Fairmont, West Virginia; one daughter, Alice Adams, Chelan; his mother, Phoebe Morton, Chelan; one brother, Leonard, and one sister Gladys DeLuca, both of Chelan; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by ohis father, one son, two brothers and three sisters.
