  Chelan Valley Mirror July 29, 1954 Kenneth M. Morton, 47, drowned in Chelan river Saturday evening when his car rolled down a steep bank into the river from a downtown parking lot. He was born in Waterville, Washington on March 9, 1907, and spent his early life in Mansfield. Mr. Morton came to Chelan 32 years ago where he had since resided. Mr. Morton was a construction worker. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Phoebe Morton of Chelan; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Richie of Richland, and Mrs. Gladys DeLuca and Mrs. Hazel Southerland, both of Chelan and three brothers, Lloyd, Floyd and Leonard, all of Chelan.
