  The Quincy Valley Post Register February 21, 1985 Requim Mass was said Monday morning for Clifford F. Petrie, 80, a longtime resident of Quincy, who died Feb. 14 in Quincy Valley Hospital following an extended illness. Burial followed in Quincy Valley cemetery. He was born April 24, 1904 in Everett. He and his family moved to Quincy when he was 2, and he attended schools here. He married Dorothy Martin (sic), who preceeded him in death. On May 29, 1950 Mr. Petrie married Cecyl Britton. The couple farmed for many years in the Quincy-Crescent Bar areas before he retired. He was a member of the Quincy Moose Lodge, the Grant County Historical Society and the Eagles of Wenatchee. Survivors include his wife, Cecyl, at home; one son : Frank of Retsil; one daughter : Darlene Harwell of Titow; five sisters : Viola Campbell of Bremerton, Vera Sapp and Harriet Williams both of Pateros, Alice Wheeler of Yakima and Dorothy Bushard of Moses Lake; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by two brothers.
