BOISE - Robert Reed "Bob" Clayton, 41, of Boise, formerly of Idaho Falls, the owner of a telepaging service in Boise, died June 8, 1995, near Twin Falls in a river rafting accident on the Milner stretch of the Snake River.
He was born Aug. 26, 1953, at Chester, Pa., to Thomas and Virginia Clayton. He spent his growing up years in Idaho Falls.
From the time he was a child, he had a zest for living, continuously delving into new adventures, which remained throughout his life. He spent most of his life traveling, but settled in Boise, where he started a successful company, Gem State Paging.
He loved to go rafting, which he did frequently. He had many close friends across the United States and was loved by many.
Survivors include his parents of Naperville, Ill.; and two sisters, Mrs. Patrick (Deborah) Riley and Diane Clayton, both of Naperville.
