  Brookfield Courier December 1891 Died at her residence in North Edmeston, Dec. 4th, Mary Jane Maxson, beloved wife of Eben Talbot, and mother of Mrs. Winnie St. John, of Chicago, and Mrs. Ralph Huestis, of Brainard's Corner, age 57 years. Mrs. Talbot had been ailing for a number of years and for the last three months has been confined to the house. She was a kind friend, a good neighbor, and her heart was full of charity which we are taught is the best of all graces. To husband and daughter, the loss of this loving wife and mother is a crushing blow and the sympathy of all is with them.
