  The Otsego Farmer February 15, 1968 Wayne A. Talbot, aged 89, of Burlington Flats, died Sunday, February 11, at Columbia Memorial Hospital, Hudson. Mr. Talbot was born March 10, 1878, in North Edmeston, the son of Abra C. and Amanda (Talbot) Talbot. He married Elizabeth Briggs on November 2, 1899 at West Burlington. Mrs. Talbot died in 1953. Mr. Talbot operated a barber shop in Burlington Flats for many years and was a poultryman and cabinetmaker. Since September 1967, he lived with his son in law and daughter, the Rev. and Mrs. Alfred Wietz in Ghent. He was a member of the Burlington Flats Methodist church, where he was a former trustee and usher for many years. Surviving is his daughter, Mrs. Alfred (Gladys) Wietz of Ghent. Burial will be in Burlington Flats cemetery.
