  Syracuse Herald American (NY) April 7, 1996 G. Edward Talbot, 83, formerly of Hamilton, died Friday at the Masonic Home in Utica. He was born in Edmeston, Otsego County. He operated a dairy farm in West Edmeston for 35 years and raise registered Holstein cows. He retired in the 1970s and moved to Hamilton. Mr. Talbot was a graduate of Leonardsville High School and the Excelsior School of Business in Utica. He was a member of the Cornerstone Church, Hamilton. Surviving are his wife, Kathryn; a daughter, Barbara Havens of Hamilton; a son, Peter of Rochester; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
