Miss Alexa Talbot, who has been making her home for several months with h
er aunt, Mrs. Clarissa Welch, was married last Wednesday at West Edmeston to Warren Belden. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Charles Shumway of Leonardsville. The couple were attended by Donald Shutz and Doris Welch. They motored to Blue Mountain Lake to spend their honeymoon. On their return they will make their home at West Edmeston.

Celebrate 45th Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Warren Belden were guests of honor at a surprise forty-fifth wedding anniversary celebration, Saturday afternoon, June 10, at the home of their son, Mr. and Mrs. Warren E. Belden, given by their family, Mrs. Joseph Estes and sons, Jeffrey and Richard of Fredericksburg, VA; Mr. and Mrs. Warren E. Belden and sons Brian, Bert and Darren, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Belden, Carla, Carolyn, Carl, Jr., and Clarence of New Berlin, and Mr. and Mrs. George Price and Tommy. Sixty guests were served a buffet supper featuring a tiered anniversary cake, beautifully decorated in white with small sapphire blue flowers. Mrs. Belden was given a beautiful white orchid, and Mr. Belden a white carnation. A very unique money tree, the blossoms, being made of dollar bills was given them by their family and they received many other lovely gifts and cards. Guests were present from Virginia, Edmeston, West Winfield, Cassville, Leonardsville, New Berlin and West Edmeston. Congratulations and best wishes for many more anniversaries, Alexa and Warren.
