Harry L. Cochran, 94, of Geneseo, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1997, at Hillcrest Home, Geneseo.
Harry Cochran was born Oct. 26, 1903, in Cambridge, the son of William and Mary Talbot Cochran. He married M. Helen Gustafson June 27, 1929, in Warren, Minn. He worked for the former Farmall plant in Rock Island for 29 years, retiring in 1967. His memberships include the First Lutheran Church, Geneseo.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; daughters and sons-in-law, Rosetta L. Byers, Moline, Patricia A. Miller, Geneseo, Joy E. and Charles Sundeen, Geneseo, and Kathryn L. and Michael Higgins, Davenport; a son and daughter-in-law, Carl W. and Arlene Cochran, Geneseo; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded by his parents; a grandson; two sisters; and three brothers.
