  Rock Island Argus Darlene H. Schultz, of Moline, passed away at her home, on her birthday, Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012. Darlene H. Liedtke was born on Nov. 7, 1921, in Moline, to William C. and Bessie Talbot Liedtke. On March 24, 1940, in Muscatine, she married William D. Schultz, who preceded her in death on May 25, 2009. She was a bookkeeper and secretary, for 35 years, for the Schultz Photography Studio, which she owned and operated with her husband. She retired in 1985. She was a member of First Christian Church in Moline, and a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include, son Michael Schultz, Moline; granddaughters, Peggy Carpenter, Rock Island, Sonya Gilmore, Miami, Fla., and Lisa Schultz, Lexington, Ky.; grandsons, Dylan Dray, Belvidere, Ill., Robert Schultz, Moline, and Scott Schultz, Lexington; great-granddaughters, Ashley Dray, Belvidere, Ill., and Elizabeth Schultz, Moline; and great-grandsons, Mitchell and Zachary Schultz, both of Moline, and Andrew Carpenter, Rock Island. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Bonita Schultz Dray.
