Dorothy M. Morton, 58, Bridgeport, died Monday evening, Feb. 20, 1989, in Central Washington Hospital following and extended illness.
She was born Oct. 7, 1930, to Marvin and Susie (Wright) Eddings at Elmore City, Okla., where she attended schools. She moved with her family to Manson where she graduated from Manson High School. She married Ellis Morton Sept. 23, 1950, at Chelan and they lived in Washington, Idaho and Montana before moving to East Wenatchee in 1957 and to Bridgeport in 1963.
Mrs. Morton was employed with the US Forest Service at Wenatchee and Okanogan. For the past three years she worked with custom Apple Packers at Brewster.
She was a member of Bridgeport Eagles Auxiliary No. 3708 and Lake Woods Golf Club.
Survivors include her husband, at home; three daughters, Kristine of Bridgeport, Vicki of Spokane and Theresa Archachan of Snohomish; a sister, Thelma Lloyd, Chelan; a brother, Clarence Eddings, Roseburg, Ore.; and a granddaughter.
