YAKIMA - Dudley D. Harwell, 72, of Tieton, died December 21, 2004, at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Dudley was born December 26, 1931, in New Plymouth, ID, to Jess and Jessie (Kelly) Harwell. He served five years in the U. S. Navy and then moved to the Yakima Valley in 1955. Most of his working life was spent as an orchard foreman, before retiring as a forklift operator from Sundquist Fruit & Cold Storage.
Dudley loved hunting, both archery and rifle hunting, and trout fishing and camping. He also liked "stirring the pot".
Surviving family include his wife Darline J. Harwell of Tieton; sons Jesse Harwell of Marysville, WA, Dale Wyatt of Tieton, and Steven Wyatt of Yakima; daughter Judith Durey of Zillah; brothers: Jesse Dwayne Harwell and Bob Harwell; sister Charlene Saddoris; and grandchildren: Kenny and Randy Wyatt, Mallery and Lonzo Durey, Presley and Coreanna Hodges, Erica and Toni Alonzo, Jessica Harwell, Josh and Tasha, and Christena Bellings.
Dudley was preceded in death by his parents Jess and Jessie Harwell, sister Ruby Fulgem, and step-brother Frank Hyad.
