  The Patriot-News (Harrisburg, PA) May 3, 1987 Fred M. Babbitt Jr., 47, of 91 Ashford Drive, Enola, died Thursday in Harrisburg Hospital. He was an employee of the New Cumberland Army Depot; a retired Navy counselor, first class; and a member of the Olympic Skating Club. Surviving are his wife, Amanda I. Babbitt; two daughters, Kathy L. Lewis and Cynthia K., both of Enola; two sisters, Deann Steigleman of Reedsport, Ore., and Dixie Marshall of Carlisle; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred M. Sr. of Camp Hill. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
