  Oneonta Star August 25, 1958 Garrattsville - Mrs. Mary A. Chase, 77, died August 23 at her home followng an illness of several years. Burial will be in Butternut Valley Cemetery, Burlington. Mrs. Chase was born Feb. 1, 1881 in the Town of Edmeston, a daughter of Hernert and Leona (Talbot) Perkins. She was married to Earl F. Chase on Sept. 20, 1899 in New Berlin. She has lived in a home north of Garrattsville for 52 years. She attended the Brick Schoolhouse at Burlington and Westy Burlington District Schools. Surviving besides her husband are on adopted daughter, Mrs. Earl Dockstader, Burlingon; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Tyler, Cooperstown; and one brother, Howard P. Talbot, Edmeston.
