  Oneonta Star July 8, 1972 West Winfield - Ivan R. Chase, 72, of West Winfield, a retired production engineer for Dodge Division of the Chrysler Corporation, died Friday, July 7, at Faxon Hospital, Utica, following an extended illness. Mr. Chase was born September 19, 1899, at Burlington Flats, a son of Duane and Della (VanWagner) Chase. He was graduated from Leonardsville High School. He never married. Surving is a cousin, Mrs. Carolyn R. Cornell, Edmeston.
