  Miles City Star July 18, 2006 Carol Umland, 84, of Jordan died Friday, July 14, 2006, at the Garfield County Nursing Home in Jordan. Carol was born on April 19, 1922, in Hazny, the daughter of Harry and Susie Clark Huston. She worked for Bausch Lomb Optical in Billings, Sohio Oil Company, and eventually the Jordan Elementary School from which she retired. She and C.H. Umland were married in 1959. Her survivors include her husband, C.H. "Tiny" Umland; a son, Pat Talbot of Hulett, Wyo.; a brother, David Huston of Brusett; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, David Talbot. Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at 10 a.m. at the Pioneer Cemetery in Jordan.
