  The Otsego Farmer & Republican (Cooperstown, NY) March 12, 1937 COLUMBUS QUARTER - Floyd Sholes of Columbus and mother, Mrs. Sholes, were callers here Thursday, on their return from attending the funeral of Mrs. William Chase at Unadilla Forks. Mrs. Chase will be remembered as Jessie Byer, daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. William Byer. The late Rev. Byer was pastor of the Quarter church several years ago. Mrs. Chase leaves a husband, William Chase; one son and her mother, Mrs. Byer. Other relative and friends mourn her passing and much sympathy is felt for the family in their sorrow.
