  The Peoria Journal Star June 2, 1998 GALVA -- Edna Mae Kenney, 86, of Galva died at Sunday, May 31, 1998, at her home. Born May 2, 1912, in Monmouth to Roy and Lena May Kugler McCurdy, she married Elmer C. Kenney on Sept. 13, 1933, in Galesburg. He died Aug. 16, 1980. Three brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was a cleaning lady for Community State Bank and the Galva Post Office. She had also worked at Lucille's restaurant. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
