  Newport Mercury September 5, 1925 The funeral of Atwell F. Hedley was held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the Friends Meeting House. Mr. Hedley, who had been in poor health for some time, died at his home on the West Main Road on Monday. The interment was in the Friends cemetery, with many beautifel floral tributes. ____ Newport Mercury September 5, 1925 In Portsmouth, R.I., August 31st., Atwell F. Hedley, in his 69th year.
