  Newport Daily News August 13, 1966 Hedly - In Portsmouth, R. I., August 12, 1966, Thomas W. Hedly, husba nd of Alice (Allinson) Hedly in his 54th year. Residence 119 Gormley Ave., Portsmouth. Newport Daily News August 16, 1966 A funeral service was held this afternoon in St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Portsmouth for Thomas William Hedly, 53, of 119 Gormley Ave., Portsmouth, a retired electrician. He died last Friday. The Rev. David P. Jenkins, rector, officiated. Burial was in the churchyard. Bearers were Warren Marshall and George Montgomery of Eureka Lodge of Masons, Paul Boardman Sr., Paul Boardman Jr.;, August Morris and Arthur Ellis. Eureka Lodge held its ritual last night at the Hambly Funeral Home. Mr. Hedly was born in Portsmouth. He retired from the Navy Public Works Department in 1960. He leaves his wife, Alice Allinson Hedly; two sons, Thomas W. Hedly of Portsmouth and Robert G. Hedly of Newport; his mother, Mrs. Mahala Hedly of Portsmouth, and two grandchildren.
