William Clifton Richmond, 79, of Acworth died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park.
A Providence, R.I., native, Mr. Richmond served in the Army during World War II and was a survivor of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. He retired as a tool and dye inspector for McClain Manufacturing in College Park and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Jonesboro.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Richmond; two sons, Keith Richmond of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Kenneth Welborn of Atlanta; two daughters, Shirley Johnson of Winston-Salem and Sharon Pharr of Marietta; one brother, Hardy Richmond of Muscogee, Wis.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and nephews and nieces.
