  Newport Daily News August 6, 1966 LAWTON - In this city, August 6, 1966, Louise (Meiggs) Lawton, widow of Joseph L. Lawton, Residence 73 Thames Street. Mrs. Louise Meiggs Lawton, widow of Joseph L. Lawton of 73 Thames St., died at Newport Hospital this norning after a two week illness. She was born in Bristol 74 years ago. Her only survivor is a nephew, Raymond Meiggs of Auston, Mass.
