  Newport Daily News May 9, 1967 Orville O. Dowler, 39, of 12 Hammond St. died last night at Newport Hospital, He was a member of the vestry of Emanuel Church and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was an inspector for the Underwriters Laboratory. Mr. Dowler was born in Newport July 28, 1927, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rhomas Waters. In addition to his parents, he leaves his wife, Mrs. Barbara Nelson Dowler, four children, Wayne, Rodney, Karen and Robert; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Corr of Middletown and Mrs Eugene Dalinineandio and Mrs. Eileen Sequeira of North Kingston; and a brother Thomas Waters Jr. of North Kingstown.
