Waters pf Baltimore, Md., and the late Orville Dowler, of this city, was married Saturday in St. Mary's Church to Henry F. Corr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward L. Corr of 32 East Bowery street. The Rev. James Bartley, the pastor, officiated. Mrs. Frances Sherman, aunt of the bride, was maid of honor, and John Corr was best man for his brother.

Corr, Jr., 57, an installer for Grenell Fire Protection for many years died Saturday, June 23, 2007.He was the husband of Carol Corr. Born in Newport the son of the late Henry F. Corr, Sr. and Elizabeth F. (Dowler) Corr. Henry graduated from St. Mary's Grammar School. He attended De La Salle Academy and graduated from Middletown High School. Henry was a member of the Cross Country Team in high school. In his youth, Henry was involved with the Boy Scouts, Explorer Scouts, and the Boys' Club. He had a variety of interests including canoeing, fishing, scuba diving, motorcycles and taking flying lessons. He was a member of Mike Corcoran's gang, which allowed him to take many canoe trips. Henry was a nature lover and a lover of gadgets. Starting as a boy he was fascinated with machinery, taking things apart so he could find out how they worked. Of course, he sometimes could not put things back together. So if there was something new in the gadget world, he got it. He loved traveling with his wife and friends, enjoying many new experiences such as swimming with dolphins in Florida and trying a zip line in Hawaii. In addition to his wife, he leaves a sister, Millie Singleton and her husband, Tom of Portsmouth, a brother, Stephen T. Corr and his wife, Jeannine, of Middletown, a brother, Tim Corr of Middletown, a sister, Anne E. Hagen and her husband, Doug of Ledyard, CT, Scott and Nanette Boudreau and his nieces and nephews, Joseph Singleton, Michael Singleton Jessica McCarthy and her husband, Edmund Peter Corr and his wife Meaghan, Rachael Corr, William Hagen, Laura Hagen and great-nephew, Eamon McCarthy. He was the brother of the late Michael Corr who is survived by his wife, Joanne of Newport.
