Pardon A. Almy, 72, a lifelong resident of Tiverton, died Monday at the Truesdale hospital, where he underwent an operation 10 days ago. He had been in failing health for some time. A bakery salesman, he was well known throughout the county towns.
He was born in Tiverton Four Corners, son of the late Pardon and Christine Almy. He leaves his wife, Mrs. EDith S. Carter Almy, three sons, Merton and Albert of Tiverton and Milton P. Almy, U.S.N.R., a daughter, Miss Janet Almy of Tiverton, a sister, Mrs. Eva T. Durfee of New Bedford, two grandchildren, and several nieces.
