  The Berkshire Eagle (Pittsfield, MA) January 3, 2006 LANESBOROUGH — Eleanor A. Taylor, 87, of 10 Opeechee St. died Sunday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Dalton on Feb. 21, 1918, daughter of Charles and Abigail Fox Watkins, she graduated from the former Dalton High School in 1936 and from the former Berkshire Business College. Mrs. Taylor was employed in the food service department at Mount Greylock Regional High School for 17 years. She was a communicant of North American Martyrs Church, a charter member of the West Shore Secret Pals Club, a member of the Lanesborough Seniors and the Pontoosuc Red Hat Society, and a Red Sox fan. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and baking. She and her husband, Leverne H. Taylor, were married April 3, 1937. He died Oct. 10, 1983. She leaves three sons, Leverne J. Taylor of Pittsfield, Robert G. Taylor of Lanesborough and Bruce F. Taylor of Pittsfield; two daughters, Eleanor Rosier, with whom she made her home, and Judith Sweener of Lanesborough; 34 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Charles and Norman Taylor, and by a daughter, Emily Amuso. FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Eleanor A. Taylor, 87, who died Jan. 1, 2006, will be Thursday ... Burial will be in Southview Cemetery in North Adams. She also leaves her sons-in-law, James Amuso Sr. and Glenn Sweener; her daughters-in-law, Judy, Julia, Beverly, Loretta and Karen Taylor, and her dog, Cinnamon, her faithful companion. She was predeceased by another son-in-law, Raymond Rosier Jr., and by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
