  Chico Enterprise-Record May 12, 2000 WILLOWS - A Memorial Mass for Marilyn D. Mehring, 79, of Chico, will be 3 p.m. Friday, May 12, at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Willows. She died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, in Chico. Mrs. Mehring was born July 8, 1920, to John and Hope Deter in Chico. She was a homemaker. She was a member of DAR, Glenn County Golf and Country Club, the Butte Creek Country Club and Golf Course, and the Canyon Oaks Country Club. Mrs. Mehring was a charter member of the Lambkin Chapter of the Children's Home Society. Her first husband, Herman Michael, and her second husband, Carl G. Mehring, both died. SHe is survived by her sister, Hope Heintz of Willows.
