  DAILY NEWS, BATAVIA December 22, 2012 Castile--Mrs. Arlene L. Smith, 84, of South Main Street, Castile, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital. She was born February 29, 1928, in Centerville, a daughter of the late Edward and Mary Whitney Fuller. She attended Pike Seminary School and had worked for 31 years at the former Mallory Timers Company in Warsaw. Arlene enjoyed flowers and gardening. Arlene Smith was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Smith. Surviving are her children, Elbert (Flossie) Flint of Perry, Linda (Mike) Phelps of Corfu, Larry (Shirley) Purdy, Jamie (Kathy) Purdy all of Warsaw, Shiela (Tom) Mimcey of Perry; her stepchildren, Gail (Mike) Fitzgerald of Warsaw, Leslie (Betsy Jo) Smith of Gainesville; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
