  Winona Daily News March 25, 1969 Whitehall, Wis. - Theron Briggs Scott, 69, died Monday at Tri County Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born in the town of Hale Jan. 9, 1900, to Edward and Winnie Briggs Scott, he and his family moved to Whitehall when he was 3 years old. He married Amy Arneson June 9, 1921. They lived in Whitehall except for 11 years in Minneapolis. He was employed by Briggs Transfer and Land O'Lakes. He was injured in a traffic accident March 10, 1963 from which he never completely recovered. Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Rudolph (Lola) Hagen, Whitehall. His wife died Jan. 27. His parents have died, and two brothers died as infants. Burial in Lincoln cemetery.
