He was 93, and was predeceased by his wife Gladys (nee Rollins) in 1985. He is survived by one son, Oren of Medford and six daughters: Madelene Oechsle of Flourtown, Pa., Celia Klingler of Southampton, Edith Barr of Bear Creek, Pa., Mary Bass of Southampton, Esther Birchall of Hainesport, Linda Gorwood of Medford, and two "adopted daughters", Lois Berger of N.C. and Elizabeth Waters of Hainesport.
