  La Crosse Tribune August 5, 2005 BLAIR, Wis. - Otis M. Berg, 80, of Blair died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005, at Grand View Care Center in Blair. Otis was born Feb. 2, 1925, in Whitehall, Wis., to Iver and Emma (Briggs) Berg. He Married Lillian M. Hoem on April 5, 1946, in Blair. Otis graduated from Blair High School in 1944. He was employed as an auto mechanic in Blair until his retirement from Ladsten Chevrolet. He also volunteered as a fireman for the Blair-Preston Fire Department for more than 45 years. Otis is survived by nine sons, Michael (Glenda), Owen, Danny, Cory and Brian, all of Blair, David (Mary) of Whitebear, Minn., Arne of Trempealeau, Wis., Jeffrey (Jean) of Edna, Kan., and Lance of Rochester, Minn; five daughters, Sharon (Tom) Kupietz and Elizabeth (Charles) Kuchel, both of Trempealeau, Wis., Dagmar (James) Nelson of Wausau, Wis., Alice Berg of La Crosse and Marie (Richard) Anderson of Ettrick, Wis.; 32 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. Otis was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian, on May 26, 1997; three brothers; and one great-grandson.
