  Newsletter of the Haskell Family Society, Vol 2, # 1 Stuart P. Haskell, Sr., aged 90 years, husband of Charlotte (Lowell) Haskell died 10 November 1992, in Bangor, Maine, USA. He was born in Steuben, Maine 8 March 1902, son of Charles and Nellie Cummings Haskell. He graduated from Jerome High School, Jerome, Idaho, and received a BS and Ed.M. degrees from the University of Maine and had conducted post-graduate studies at the University of Connecticut. A Certified Public Accountant he was also school principal in schools in Connecticut and Maine during his long and distinguished career. Surviving in addition to his wife in Bangor are a son Stuart F. Haskell, and wife Gloria of Stillwater, Christopher Haskell of Saco, three granddaughters, Catherine Haskell of Orono, Caren Ford of Stillwater and Carol Wertz of old orchard beach, six great-grandchildren, one sister Marion Haskell Thurston of Steuben, a brother Carl Haskell of Steuben and numerous nephews and nieces. Private interment was at Mount Hope Cemetary, Bangor, Maine, USA.
