  Ventura County Star (CA) June 27, 2008 San Martin, Calif. - Karl E. Dame, 80, passed away at his home in San Martin, Sunday, June 22, 2008. He was husband of the late Beverly Dame; father of Jeffrey Dame (wife, Caren) of Gilroy, Robin Dame (wife, Kelly( of Maui, Hawaii, Regan Brown (husband, Gregory) of San Martin and the late Janis Dame; grandfather of Scott and Tammy Lord, Genesis and Jordan Burns, Tiffiny and Stephany Dame, Gregory and Megan Dame and Ryan, Russell and Jesse Brown; brother of Joe, Robert, Roy Dame, all of Freeport, Ill., and the late Jim, Eunice and Alamede Dame. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. He was a 48-year resident of Oxnard, where he practiced family law with Frazier, Dame & Dougherty for 38 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. Karl was a member and past president of the Oxnard Noontime Lions and longtime member of Saticoy Country Club.
