  Winona Daily News December 15, 1975 Strum, Wis. - Werner M. Rice, 58, Strum, a lifelong area carpenter, died Sunday morning at the Osseo Area hospital following a two month illness. He was born Dec. 18, 1916, in rural Strum tp Marcus asnd Oliana Matson Rice and married Alice Heath Dec. 12, 1942, in Strum. He was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Survivors are : his wife, four daughters, the Mi9sses Nancy, Laura, LaRayne and Emily Rice; two brothers, Signor and Hubert Rice, Strum, and two sisters, Mrs. Melba Bulek, Strum and Georgia Hintz, Altoona, Wis.
