  Unknown newspaper OSSEO – Elizabeth A. Heath, 79, formerly of Osseo, died Monday, Jan. 6, 19 92, at Oakwood Villa Nursing Home, Altoona. Elizabeth, daughter of the late William and Ida (Durst) Smith, was born Oct. 7,1912, in Fairchild. She married Chester Heath Oct. 31, 1931, in rural Strum. They farmed in the Town of Unity, Trempealeau County. She was a resident of the nursing home since March, 1987. Survivors include two daughters, Myrna (Tom) Bresina of Altoona, Brenda (Jerry) Sommerfeldt of Fall Creek; two sons, Richard (Kristy) of La Crosse, Archie (Lorna) of Augusta; a sister, Phyllis (Art) Steele of Plainfield; four brothers, Kenneth (Viola) Smith of Eau Claire, Albert Smith of Milwaukee, Wallace Smith of McAllen, Texas, Jack (Shirley) Smith of Fort Benton, Mt.; 24 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four daughters, Francis, Jennie, Sandra, Deborah; a son, Aaron. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Schiefelbein Funeral Home, Osseo, with burial of the cremains in Osseo Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.
