Our Mother, Etta was raised in Sacramento, graduating 1954 from Grant Union High and was the Lead Majorette.
In 1956, Mom and her high school sweetheart, Ethan Browning, Jr. were married and had three children. She was a beautiful, loving wife and mother being very involved in her children's activities. Mom persuaded a financial career in banking becoming the first woman branch manager for Wells Fargo Bank.
In 1980, moving to Southern California, she was married to Duewayne Toon inheriting four children, and became a grandmother.
Mom enjoyed sailing on sunny days, warm fires on rainy days, reading romance novels, her cat, and became a gourmet cook for her family. Our mother always made every occasion special for her family and Christmas was her favorite holiday, which she made magical. She returned to Sacramento rejoining her two best friends, Siguie and Jeanie. Mom was a beautiful, loving, intelligent and elegant lady and is loved by all.
She will be missed most by her family Lynnette Browning-Love and husband Lawrence; Cheryl Gauthreaux and husband Greg; Scott Browning and wife Keri; Mom's four grandchildren: Amber, Michael, Breanna, and Miah, and great-grandchild Joshua.
Mom, thank you for all your love, support and guidance. We love end miss you so much!
